Let’s get right into it!
Wrath of Gold Incantation Overview
If you’ve played FromSoftware’s Dark Souls trilogy, you probably recall the Wrath of Gold miracle. As it turns out, the same Wrath of Gold has been rebranded in The Lands Between.
Discovered when the Elden Ring shattered, the Wrath of Gold Incantation generates an explosive shockwave that deals damage and throws back enemies in a nearby radius. Charging this Incantation increases the size of its shockwave.
Wrath of Gold Incantation requires players to have at least 32 Faith attribute to cast.
This spell is a great option if you need crowd control and a fun ability to use on players in PVP when they are near ledges.
Wrath of Gold Location
To get the Wrath of Gold Incantation, you’ll first need to head to Altus Plateau in Elden Ring. If you haven’t visited this area before, there are two ways to reach it.
You can either locate both halves of the Dectus Medallion and ride the Grand Lift o Dectus or power through the dungeons that connect Liurnia to Altus Plateau. If you’re under-leveled, the first option is your best bet.
However, if you are up for the challenge, you can brave the dungeons and defeat the NPCs along the way until you reach Altus Plateau.
In addition, the two halves of the Dectus Medallion are located in Fort Haight and Fort Faroth.
Once you’ve reached Altus Plateau, head towards the forested area where the Minor Erdtree resides. This entire area would be surrounded by ruins and Wormfaces. These enemies spew Curse similar to Basilisks, so players must be careful, or they’ll face instant death.
However, the part of the ruins you’ll want to reach is to the southeast of the Minor Erdtree.
In this area, you’ll find a group of Wormfaces that surrounds a set of stairs that lead into the ground.
You can lure them away while riding Torrent if you don’t want to fight or cause them to get stuck on the various rock formations in the ruins. Once the enemies are dealt with, go down the stairs and open the chest to get the Wrath of Gold Incantation.
