To take pictures in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players must first access the Photo Mode. In order to do that, you will have to interact with Merlin and complete the given task. As soon as you complete it, you will be able to access your Home, Phone, and many other things.

Now that you have your phone, here’s how you can start taking pictures:

  1. First, open the Tool Menu by pressing RT (Xbox), R2 (Playstation), or ZR (Switch).
  2. After that, take out your phone by selecting the Phone option.
  3. Now, use Photo Mode by pressing X (Xbox), Y (Switch), and Square (Playstation). You can also change the Camera Mode by clicking the Bumper button on all devices.
  4. Once you are ready, take a quick snapshot by pressing X (Xbox), Y (Switch), or Square (Playstation). Keep in mind that there are no options to save the picture of your avatar and characters in-game. But you can always take a screenshot using your device.
