Smithing Stones 3 Locations
Tier 3 Smithing Stones in Elden Ring can be used to reinforce weapons up to +9 with the help of a Blacksmith. Although +9 weapons are great for dealing with tough enemies, you still have a long way to go before they are maxed out.
Unfortunately, there are no Tier 3 Smithing Stones in West Limgrave. This means that you’ll have to venture out of the area to get some.
While you can just follow the game’s storyline and explore beyond Limgrave to get Smithing Stones 3, they commonly appear around the Raya Lucaria Academy. This area is just north of the Stormveil Castle.
Here are some locations where you can find Tier 3 Smithing Stones:
- Stormveil Castle – after traversing around the rocky path on the side of the castle, you’ll eventually reach an area that is covered in trees and shrubs. Warhawks also spawn in this area, and one of them is picking at a body that holds a Smithing Stone 3. Kill the Warhawks to collect the stone safely.
- Laskyar Ruins – you can find another Tier 3 Smithing Stone in these ruins in the forest north of the Stormveil Caste.
- Raya Lucaria Academy – another Tier 3 Smithing Stone is waiting for you to collect on a corpse in the plaza between the academy and the nearby ruins of the Academy Gate Town.
- Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel – in the northeast of Raya Lucaria Academy, you’ll find the Crystal Tunnels that contain several Tier 3 Smithing Stones.
