Where to Find Smithing Miner’s Bell Bearing in Elden Ring

Looking for Smithing Miner’s Bell Bearing in Elden Ring?

There is no denying that Elden Ring is a hard game. This won’t surprise anyone who’s played through previous FromSoftware titles like Dark Souls. However, that doesn’t mean that you won’t see hundreds of “You Died” screens on Elden Ring.

If you want to be successful in the game, you’ll need to get powerful weapons. And to make them even more powerful, you’ll need lots of Smithing Stones.

Smithing Stones in Elden Ring are used to level up weapons such as blades, staffs, shields, or spears. To upgrade your weapons, you’ll have to offer these Smithing Stones and some Runes to Master Blacksmith Hewg at Roundtable Hold.

These stones in Elden Ring can be found throughout The Lands Between and even dropped by a few enemies.

However, if you want to speed up the leveling process of your weapons, it will be much easier to just purchase them.

In this guide, we will show you where to find Smithing Miner’s Bell Bearing in Elden Ring.

Let’s get started!

Purchasing Smithing Stones

Let’s start with the basics. There are two places where you can purchase Smithing Stones. The first one is from Smithing Master Iji, a giant in northwest Liurnia of the Lakes, and the Twin Maiden Husks at the Roundtable Hold.

Once you’ve defeated Godrick the Grafted, you’ll gain access to Elden Ring’s second major area, Liurnia of the Lakes. To find Iji, you’ll need to travel all the way to the northwest region of the lake.

Once you reach the shore, you’ll find the Kingsgrave Ruins. In this area, there will be a bunch of skeleton mages that you have to kill or run past.

At the northern portion of the ruins, you’ll see a magic wall that disappears when you strike it.

Once the wall is gone, you’ll see a Site of Grace to your right. On your left will be the Smithing Master Iji. He’ll offer you unlimited Somber Smithing Stone [1] and [2], plus a limited number of Somber Smithing Stone [3] and [4].

While Iji will get you started, you’ll have to consult the Twin Maiden Husks at the Roundtable Hold if you want to further upgrade your weapons.

However, you’ll need to give the Twin Maiden Husks some Smithing Miner’s Bell Bearings before they offer you any stones.

There are four Smithing Miner’s Bell Bearings in Elden Ring and five Somberstone Miner’s Bell Bearings. If you collect all nine, the Twin Maiden Husks will sell you all the Smithing Stones needed to get any weapon up to level nine.

To get the Miner’s Bell Bearings, travel to Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel. It is also by Liurnia of the Lakes but on the northeast side.

By the shore, you’ll find a little crawlspace that will take you into the Crystal Tunnel. This is a dungeon that you’ll have to get through. You can also collect several Smithing Stones in this area.

At the end of the dungeon is Crystalian. Once you beat her, you’ll get the Smithing Miner’s Bell Bearing [1].

Smithing Miner’s Bell Bearing [2]

The next Smithing Miner’s Bell Bearing [2] will be located in Leyndell, the Royal Capital. However, the Smithing Miner’s Bell Bearing isn’t in the capital but in a small dungeon to the southwest of Leyndell.

As the map below shows, there is a dungeon called the Sealed Tunnel, which you can access by traveling through the blue swamp area on the Capital’s outskirts.

Fortunately, you don’t have to go all the way through the dungeon to get the bearing. Inside the dungeon is an area with a Site of Grace. There’s no obvious way through the room, but there is a hidden path you can open by striking the wall on the west side of the room.

Once you do that, you’ll enter an area filled with enemies. Clear them out and you’ll find a chest that contains the Smithing Miner’s Bell Bearing [2].
