High On Life is one of the hottest games right now. It is a comedic sci-fi action shooter game created by Justin Roiland and developed by Squanch Games. HOL takes place in a fictional world, featuring aliens and talking guns.
Knowing that Justin Roiland co-created Rick and Morty, the game shares the same humor with the show and some aspects of it will make you remember the series.
Now, it should not be a surprise that High On Life features theaters where you can watch full-length movies. Before launch, the devs proudly announced that they have purchased the rights to four full movies for the game.
However, finding the cinema to watch these movies is not the easiest task.
For the initial movie, you can watch it directly in your home, where Gene will also be enjoying it. After that, the remaining movies are a bit harder to find.
Today, we will show you how to find the secret movie theater in High On Life.

Finding Movie Theaters
After visiting the mayor of Blim City, which should trigger after defeating the first two G3 Cartel bounty bosses, you will be prompted to explore the city or continue accepting bounties. Now, there is no time limit on when you should visit the theater, but it is among the earliest points that you can visit in the game.
To do this, head home and walk right out of your front door. Slightly to your left, you should spot Blorto in his “food stand”.
Blorto will ask you if you want some food or a “Blorto Special”, which are Warp Discs that will take your character to various locations.
However, gaining access to these locations come with a cost. To be exact, you will need Warp Crystals to travel these areas, which we assume you’ve been slowly collecting. Warp Crystals appear when enemies warp in on those circular structures.
The circular buildings are powered by Warp Crystals and are attached to a control desk on top of the building or within it.
Reaching The Secret Movie Theater
To get to the movie theater, you will need to use three Warp Crystals. Purchase the Movie Theater location from the game menu and head back home to the Bounty Hunter 5000. Tab down below the Bounty tab and you should enter the Portals Menu.
This menu should allow you to revisit planets that you’ve been to before. Choose Zephyr Paradise, then Upper Valley. Activate the portal afterward.
If you walk through the portal, you should see a hill in front of you. Climb the hill and the location should be familiar. Of course, it should be since it is where the mansion was located before. However, it will look slightly different now and an energy tent should be next to it.
Interact with the energy tent and you’ll be asked to use one of your Warp Discs. Choose the Movie Theater Warp Disc and the drill structure should be replaced with a sad-looking movie theater.
During your first visit to the secret movie theater, the “We Paid For The Rights To Put A WHole Movie” achievement will be awarded to you, which is worth 45 gamer score.
