Elden Ring offers an interesting cast of characters and NPCs with their own agendas, storyline, lore, needs, and values. The Tarnished can either align themselves with the values of these NPCs or forge their own path. 

However, hearing these NPCs out can give you side quests that reward valuable items and powerful equipment. 

Bloody Finger Hunter Yura is a good example of this. If you come across this wandering ronin in The Lands Between, he will warn you about the dragon roosting in the lake and to stay away from it.

Now, you might notice the sweet armor the Bloody Finger Hunter Yura is wearing. This is the Ronin Set we are going to tackle in this guide. 

However, the helmet Hunter Yura is wearing is an Iron Kasa.

If you want to use this armor, here’s how you can get the Ronin Armor set in Elden Ring.

Obtaining the Ronin Armor

Unfortunately, slaying Bloody Finger Hunter Yura during your first meeting will not reward you with the Ronin Armor. To get this set in Elden Ring, players must embark on a long journey, one that takes you all the way to the Mountaintops of Giants, which is the end area of the game. 

This is otherwise known as Yura’s Questline. 

To begin this quest, you’ll have to first encounter Yura in Limgrave. He’ll be located east of the Seaside Ruins Site of Grace. New players can reach this location by heading southeast after leaving the tutorial area. 

You’ll see a stone overpass where Yura is camped near the Site of Grace. 

Talk to Yura after seeing him, and he’ll tell you about the dragon in the nearby lake. However, you don’t have to kill it to advance this questline. 

Instead, start going towards the Murkwater Cave. You can find this north of Seaside Ruins into the lake and follow the stream that leads north. Keep an eye out for Murkwater Cave which is on the western portion. 

From here, talk to Yura and assist him. 

Meeting Yura in Raya Lucaria Academy

After getting through the first part of the quest, you’ll meet Yura once more in the Raya Lucaria Academy. This will be on a broken bridge that leads northeast. Activate the summoning sign you’ll see in the area to help Yura kill the Bloody Finger Ravenmount Assassin. 

Once the fight is over, he’ll be waiting for you on the bridge. Talk to him again. 

After exhausting his dialogue, he’ll ask you to go to Altus Plateau, specifically the Second Church of Marika. 

To get to the church, head north from the Altus Highway Junction Site of Grace. Yura will ask for assistance once again. This time, your objective is to eliminate Bloody Finger Eleonora.

Lastly, you’ll be able to obtain the Ronin set after meeting Yura one last time at the Zamor Ruins Site of Grace. This would be near the start of the Mountaintops of Giants, and Yura is no longer Yura. He will now be called Shabriri. 

Now, you can kill Shabriri to obtain the Ronin Armor set. However, keep in mind that Shabriri must be kept alive for the Frenzied Flame ending.
