Can’t figure out how the realm bounty works in Genshin Impact?
Another exciting addition to Genshin Impact is the companions for your housing realm. With this new update, you can invite your favorite characters to your teapot, which can earn you Primogems, Mora, and character ascension fragments.
You can also passively earn companionship XP by inviting your characters to your Serenitea Pot.
For those not familiar with companionship XP, it is a type of experience used to level your character’s friendship level.
Increasing your character’s friendship level will give you access to various lore about your character, new emotes in photo mode, and an exclusive character name card when you reach friendship level 10.
Today, we will show you how the realm bounty system works in Genshin Impact.
Let’s get started!
Realm Bounty Guide
Usually, players can increase their friendship level by completing quests and commissions, defeating bosses, and clearing domains using a specific character. Unfortunately, this often results in players maxing out their main character’s friendship level, and others remain stuck at friendship level 1.
Thankfully, miHoYo has fixed this with the addition of the realm bounty system.
When you talk to Tubby in the Teapot realm, you’ll have the option to check your Adeptal Energy Rank. This energy rank is determined by the number of objects and companions you have in your housing realm.
The higher your Adeptal Energy rank is the more realm currency and bounty you’ll get.
Maximizing Your Realm Bounty
If you want to take advantage of the realm bounty system, you must avoid inviting characters who already reached friendship level 10. They will just be sitting around your realm without earning any companionship XP.
Instead, select the characters you rarely use and invite them over to your housing system.
This way, your other characters can passively earn companionship experience while you go about your day-to-day tasks.
Currently, you can place up to eight companions in your teapot realm, which will earn a set amount of companionship XP based on your Adeptal Energy rank. Although companionship XP can be earned passively, keep in mind that you still have to claim it from Tubby.
You can do this by accessing Tubby’s interface and selecting the Trust Rank tab. From there, you’ll be able to claim your realm currency and companionship XP. You can also see your hosted companions at the bottom of the screen.
How Much Realm Bounty Can You Earn?
The realm bounty that you earn from your teapot depends on the current rank of your Adeptal Energy. To make things simpler, we’ve made a list below for how much bounty you can earn every hour depending on your Adeptal Energy rank.

- Humble Abode – 2 Per Hour
