Although Deathloop’s puzzles are not the hardest ever in a game, they are quite tricky to solve and require a lot of work.
Fortunately, there are safes and secret doors that you can unlock without doing much since you’ll eventually uncover them as you play the game’s main storyline. One of which is opening the safe in Colt’s apartment.
Colt’s apartment safe can be opened in the early stages of the game. You can find the apartment in Updaam, and you can enter it through the open window.
Like any secured storage, the safe inside Colt’s apartment requires a code from the AEON Security Office.

Unlocking Colt’s Apartment Safe
In the first mission, called The Longest Day, you’ll be able to find the code for the safe. After learning about the time loop, you’ll be instructed to travel to the AEON Security Office in Fristad Rock to search for the LPP.
There will be Eternalists outside the office. You can either fight them or sneak past them.
Either way, you’ll need to go around the back of the office and use your Hackimajig to open the door. Inside, you’ll find a document pinned to the desk where you’ll learn that the AEON Security Office is Colt’s office, and the LPP is in his safe.
Returning to the Apartment
After that, you need to head back to your apartment in Updaam and read the note left by Julianna in the safe. Your conversation with Julianna will start, and she’ll announce that she is invading Updaam and lock the tunnels.
You can hack the broadcast signals outside your apartment to reopen the tunnels. However, you’ll have to face Julianna and beat her.
On the other hand, you can quickly hack the antenna and escape through the tunnels.
Defeating Julianna

Once you’ve killed Julianna, the loop can be restarted, and you should be able to access the safe and its content.
