How to Get the Meteoric Ore Blade in Elden Ring

Want to know how you can get the Meteoric Ore Blade in Elden Ring?

Katanas are not exactly abundant in Elden Ring, but each of them offers a very unique experience to players. One such weapon is the Meteoric Ore Blade. This is an excellent weapon that players can acquire early in the game without having to deal with a single enemy.

While it can’t be enchanted or modded with Ashes of War, its weapon art, Gravitas, is very powerful, and its native INT scaling makes it a perfect weapon for sorcerer builds.

Additionally, the Meteoric Ore Blade requires somber smithing stones to be upgraded in Elden Ring. This means that players don’t have to split regular smithing stones between their Glintstone Staff and another melee weapon.

Similar to most katanas in Elden Ring, the Meteoric Ore Blade applies Hemorrhage with its attacks. When you hit an enemy, they will receive a certain amount of the status effect that quickly decreases.

However, if you keep the pressure and stack Hemorrhage, the target will suffer from Blood Loss and you’ll deal a burst of damage based on the percentage of their total HP.

In this guide, we will show you how to get the Meteoric Ore Blade in Elden Ring.

Let’s get right into it!

Getting the Meteoric Ore Blade

Starting from the First Step Site of Grace at the start of the game, you can head east towards the south area of the lake to find the Dragon-Burnt Ruins. In the middle of the ruins is a set of stairs surrounded by enemies that lead down into a basement.

At the back of it is a steel door that you can raise to find a chest that will transport you to the Sellia Crystal Tunnel.

You should keep in mind that after being warped by the chest, you will need to use a Site of Grace before being able to teleport again. Due to this, it is not a good idea to hold onto many runes while doing this, as the Sellia Crystal Tunnel is quite dangerous for low-level characters.

Inside the Crystal Tunnel, you will spawn inside a wooden structure in the middle of the mine. Leave the shack and head down to find the path leading out of the cave.

Before heading out, you will pass through a Site of Grace that you can use to come back whenever needed. After that, you should proceed southwest until you find the Caelid Waypoint Ruins.

Once again, locate the set of stairs that leads into a basement at the western section of the ruins.

Find the steel door at the back of the room. Behind it, you will find a chest that holds the Meteoric Ore Blade, one of the best early items in Elden Ring.
