Wondering where you can find media sticks in GTA Online?
GTA Online is full of fun and exciting details, which is one of the key reasons for the game’s success. These extra details to the game complete the experience of players allowing them to immerse deeply in the state of San Andreas.
One feature that you’ll surely appreciate in the game is the tracks that play on your car radio.
If you spend a lot of time cruising around Los Santos, you probably hear some songs from famous artists like Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, Mike Posner, and many more.
Now, if you want to listen to more mainstream tracks while driving, you’ll need to find the media sticks scattered around Los Santos. Players are already spoiled for choice in terms of the radio stations in the game.
But now, you’ll have the chance to gather more tracks without spending hard-earned money in GTA Online.
The new media sticks in the game will be available once you download the latest GTA Online Los Santos Tuners update. Besides new soundtracks, the update also includes ten new cars, with seven more to be released.
However, we are going to focus on the media sticks for now.
Today, we’ll show you where to find media sticks in GTA Online.
Let’s get started!
What Is a GTA Media Player?
After downloading the Los Santos Tuners update, you’ll be required to access the media player as soon as you log in. You’ll see it on the radio station wheel, but it won’t be available until you locate your first stick.
If you try to access it, you’ll get the following message:
“Find and collect media sticks that contain music (EPs, mixtapes, live recordings & more) from locations around Los Santos. Collected sticks can be played on the Media Player and set via the inventory section of the Interaction Menu.”
Now, if you’re not pleased with just four new tracks from the game’s new CircoLoco label, you’ll always have the option to create a custom radio station if you’re playing on PC.
GTA Online Media Sticks Location
Currently, it seems that there are just four new media sticks to find in Los Santos. This is way lesser than Rockstar’s other fiendish scavenger hunts. If you’ve completed the radio antennas or movie props hunt, you’ll know what we’re talking about.
Now, if you manage to collect all four media sticks, you’ll get a t-shirt and an extra mix called CLR Launch Party mix.
For players using a controller, you’ll notice that it will start vibrating as you approach a media stick. As you get closer, the pulses on your controller also get stronger.
Thankfully, you don’t need to own an Arcade or Nightclub to obtain the new media sticks in GTA Online. However, you probably have them nonetheless if you’ve been playing for quite some time.
If you’re a new player, simply join your friend’s session and visit their Arcade and Nightclub if you plan on collecting the media sticks.
Here are the locations of every media stick in GTA Online:
- Nightclub – for the first media stick in GTA Online, you can find it in your nightclub’s office. If you don’t own a nightclub, join your friend’s session and head to their office for the Violet EP.
- Arcade – pay a visit to your arcade afterward and you’ll be able to pick up the Green EP media stick at the bar.
- Casino – for your third media stick, you can find it at the roof of the Diamond Casino. Head to the jacuzzi and you’ll see the Blue EP media stick.
- LS Car Meet Shop – the last media stick will be next to the mod shop in the LS Car Meet. If you checked out the player-generated showroom first, you don’t have to travel far for the Black EP media stick.
