How to Make An Oven in Grounded

Wondering how you can make an oven in Grounded?

Crafting is a necessary part of Grounded, and the oven is yet another crafting station that you’d want to add to your base. There are a handful of good uses for the oven, like smelting, and you don’t want to miss it. 

Like many things in the game, you will need to build an oven to obtain one. However, before you can do that, a building module must be acquired to unlock the oven itself. 

This module is called the Advanced Production Buildings module, which is technically purchased, but it must be found and returned to the vendor first. The module for the oven is in the Haze Lab, which is located in the southwestern region. 

Once you are inside, you will need to head toward the back of the Haze Lab and inspect a table. 

With the module in hand, you should head to BURG.L and hand over the Advanced Production Building module. With the item turned in, the module can now officially be purchased for 4,000 Raw Science, and the oven can now be crafted.

Making Oven in Grounded

With the oven unlocked in Grounded, the next step is to craft the oven itself and place it within your base or home. It only takes a few kinds of ingredients, but they may take some time to gather or acquire. 

The materials needed for the oven are 4 Boiling Glands, 1 Charcoal Chunk, and 10 Clay. 

To find all the materials needed, there are different locations or enemies to look for. The clay can be easily collected in the garden or around the base with a shovel. Boiling glands are found by defeating and looting Bombardier Beetles. 

For the charcoal, you can find some in the barbeque location on the map. 

After gathering all the materials for the oven, you can now craft it. This should allow you to smelt items in the game, such as Mushroom Slurry. On top of the smelting items, you will also need the oven to fight the Broodmother boss. 

Fighting this creature means you will need to craft a Broodmother BLT and bring it to her den to fight.
