Need to locate and destroy the signal jammers in Fortnite?
Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 is finally out, and as expected, it brought many changes in the game. Aside from the new map to explore and learn, Fortnite also updated some game mechanics, a new type of Victory Royale, and many more.
With so much new stuff in the game, it can be overwhelming to learn all of them at once.
The quest system in Fortnite also received some changes. There are season, milestones, and daily quests for players to complete, and each of them has a wide variety of tasks to choose from.
One of the early Season Quests you’ll encounter in Chapter 3 takes you to an island on the west portion of the map, where you’re tasked to locate and destroy three signal jammers.
While the task is simple, everyone in the game is also after the same objective, and you’ll be racing against the storm to finish this quest. Nonetheless, completing this quest is worth the trouble, as it gives you a sweet reward.
To help you out, we’ve decided to make a guide on how to locate and destroy the signal jammers in Fortnite.

Starting the Quest
Before you can locate and destroy the signal jammers, you’ll have to start the quest first. You can do this by heading over to the small island on the far eastern portion of the map. From there, you’ll find one of the new NPCs that will give you the quest.
The three signal jammers will be on a tiny island, but you must destroy them in a single match without losing.
If you die before destroying all signal jammers, your progress will reset, and you’ll have to do it over again in the next match.
Fortunately, all signal jammers are close to one another.
Signal Jammers Location
You can locate the first signal jammer in Fortnite on the tiny island’s west side, close to some trees by the coast. Use your harvesting tool several times to break it for good.
For the second signal jammer, you’ll find it in the northern corner of the island, hidden at the back of a building.
Lastly, the third can be located on the southern part of the island, beside a spinning fan used to power the entire area.
How to Destroy Signal Jammers in Fortnite
The signal jammers in Fortnite are similar to small satellites. There’s no point wasting your ammo or giving away your location to other players. Instead, you can simply bring out your harvesting tool and smash the jammers until they break.
Once you’ve completed this task, you’ll earn a whopping 25,000 XP. If you happen to own a Battle Pass (includes Spider-Man and other characters), you can use your Battle Stars to claim the rewards without following the linear unlock path.
