How to Increase Max Equip Load in Elden Ring

Need to increase your max equip load in Elden Ring?

Elden Ring is the latest offering from the famous developer FromSoftware. Following the roots of the Souls series, Elden Ring features a vast open world that houses difficult bosses, secret areas, and confusing puzzles.

Like any RPG game, you’ll need to create a character at the start of the game and choose what class you’re going to play.

This will serve as the blueprint of your character and its playstyle.

Whatever build you decide to go with in Elden Ring, you’ll be dealing with equipment load. This determines how fast your character can roll, run, and dodge in the game.

If your equip load is lower than “Heavy”, you’ll be able to dodge at normal speed.

However, reaching a Heavy Load status in Elden Ring will take a toll on your character’s ability to roll during combat.

Today, we will show you how to increase your max equip load in Elden Ring.

Let’s get started!

Increasing Your Character’s Max Equip Load

The fastest and simplest way to increase your character’s max equip load in the game is by spending some Attribute Points in your Endurance stat. This should increase your maximum stamina and overall equipment load.

If you want some wiggle room for heavier armor and weapons, it is advisable to invest in your Endurance stat. The good thing about Elden Ring is that you can always reset your points if you don’t need a heavier equip load later in the game.

Talismans

If you don’t want to spend any Attribute Points on the Endurance stat, you can always go for Talismans to increase your Endurance.

The Radagon’s Scarseal and Radagon’s Soreseal will increase your overall attributes, which should include Endurance. In exchange, you’ll take slightly more damage from enemies and bosses.

You can locate the Scareseal Talisman by visiting the Weeping Evergaol in Weeping Peninsula and slaying the Ancient Hero of Zamor.

This location can be found at the top of the western part of the Weeping Peninsula.

On the other hand, Radagon’s Soreseal can be obtained by visiting Forth Faroth in Caelid. This area is just northwest of Redmane Castle. At the fort, go up the ladder at the end of the initial room, walk along the roof, and jump onto the platform.

Go down the hole on the north side of the platform and jump onto another platform. Drop down once more to find the Soreseal.

Erdtree’s Favor

While the mentioned Talismans increase your overall attributes, there is another item that boosts your Endurance in particular. The Erdree’s Favor can be found by going back down the first lift you took in Elden Ring.

From there, fast travel to Stranded Graveyard Site of Grace. Use two Stonesword Keys to access the barrier.

Now, go through the poison lake to reach another platforming challenge. You’ll have to avoid the giant chariot by running ahead or behind it and hiding in the cubbies of the wall. Eventually, you’ll come across a narrow platform with giant holes on both sides.

Drop down in these holes and head straight until you find a big room with two Grafted Scions inside.

Although you can take care of these hostile NPCs, you’ll only need to get the item on the body at the end of the room, which is the Erdtree’s Favor. This talisman should increase your HP, FP, and max equip load.
