To obtain the Golden Scarab talisman in Elden Ring, you should make your way to the region of Caelid. This area is east of Limgrave. Specifically, you’ll be looking for a cave called the Abandoned Cave. 

The cave is located east of the Smouldering Wall Site of Grace. From there, get past the dead trees occupied by several mangy monster dogs. 

On the far side of this area, there should be a ravine that will block off your path. However, there is a large branch crossing it into the opposite cliffside. This leads to an open cavern, which is the Abandoned Cave. 

Be extra careful while crossing the branch, as stepping off slightly to the edge will cause your character to slide off. 

Once you are inside the cave, you’ll be up for some challenges. You can use the Site of Grace in the area and ensure that you have tons of Preserving Boluses or any item that can help fight off the rot. 

The Golden Scarab Talisman in Elden Ring is at the very end of the Abandoned Cave. Due to this, you’ll have to face the Cleanrot Knights first and defeat them. 

If you’ve taken care of Godrick and made it past Leyndell, the Cleanrot Knights should not pose a lot of problems. However, if you haven’t made it past this point, fighting the two bosses can be difficult.
