Dinkum is steadily attracting the attention of many players. This game combined the mechanics you’ll see on Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It sets you on an island where you need to survive and build a community out of nothing.
The map of Dinkum is actually quite big once you get to see the whole of it. While it’s a great help to have an auto-run feature, which enables you to get from point A to B faster, you’ll eventually get tired of walking once you’ve explored more areas.
Something like a car or motorcycle would be great, and as it turns out, you can get your hands on one of these in Dinkum.
At some point in your gameplay, you will be able to craft and purchase land and water vehicles that should make farming and exploration faster. You’ll also be able to ride a boat to get to other islands safer.

Meeting Franklyn
After you have invited John onto the island and paid off his debt at Base Tent, new visitors will randomly arrive at your Visitor Tent. One of the visitors you’ll meet is an NPC named Franklyn.
By selling Shiny Discs to Franklyn, he’ll be able to think up new inventions that you can craft and purchase.
Giving Franklyn enough Shiny Discs will unlock new recipes, and you will be able to buy vehicles from him. However, you’ll have to secure a Vehicle License from Fletch first before you can buy vehicles from Franklyn.
You can also upgrade your Vehicle License to be able to use other types of vehicles in the game. Besides vehicles, Franklyn also sells other things like Weather Stations and Repair Tables.
Earn Dinks
Anything Franklyn sells will be expensive. Having a house will cost you 95,000 Dinks, and now you’ll have to spend 50,000 Dinks or more on vehicles and other large useful things that Franklyn sells.
Due to this, you’ll have to work day in and day out to save up the needed money for the vehicle you want. However, collecting seashells and butterflies won’t be enough.
Some of the best ways to earn money in Dinkum are to find Thunder Eggs, Bee Hives, and sell wild animals. Thunder Eggs spawn the day after a thunderstorm and sell for 15,000 or more. Bee hives randomly drop from trees when you chop them down and can also be sold for over 12,000 Dinks.
However, you’ll need to unlock a License to trap animals before you can do this. You will receive recipes for an Animal Drop Off point and an Animal Trap. You can place the trap anywhere and hop an animal walks on it.
Once you’ve trapped an animal, you need to pick it up and drop it at the Animal Drop Off point you’ve made.

Vehicles You Can Get
There are various kinds of vehicles that you can purchase from Franklyn. You will also be able to craft your own wooden row boat after a while. However, what Frankly sells is more advanced, allowing you to get from one place to another faster.
