Don’t know how to get to Palace Approach Ledge-Road in Elden Ring?
The further you explore The Lands Between, the more locations you’ll discover. This continues even deep into the game as more underground sites are explored. One of these locations is the Palace Approach Ledge-Road. This area leads you to one of the biggest boss fights in Elden Ring.
The Palace Approach Ledge-Road in Elden Ring’s Mohgwyn Palace is area players need to get to for several reasons. Not only is it the most convenient route to reach Mohgwyn Palace for the first time, but it’s also home to one of the best Rune farming locations in Elden Ring.
From the underground Siofra River, the blood-red glow coming from the Parthenon-like structure makes the Mohgwyn Palace hard to miss.
There are two ways to reach the palace Approach Ledge-Road and its site of grace, but we don’t recommend wasting your time in Siofra figuring a way up.
To get there, you’ll have to first complete the Varre’s questline or reach the Consecrated Snowfield.
In this guide, we will show you how to get to the Palace Approach Ledge-Road in Elden Ring.
Let’s get right into it!
Method One: White-Faced Varre’s Questline
White-Faced Varre is the first NPC you’ll come across when starting in Elden Ring. After finishing his dialogue at Limgrave’s first Site of Lost Grace, head to the Rose Church in Liurnia of the Lakes, southwest of Raya Lucaria.
After getting a Great Rune and meeting the Two Fingers, Varre will ask you about your impression. Choose the “they didn’t seem right” option, and he’ll give you some Festering Bloody Fingers to invade other players.

Complete three invasions and return to Varre for the Lord of Blood’s Favor. This must be soaked in the blood of a maiden.
The closes dead maiden is in the Church of Inhibition past the Frenzied Flame Village in Liurnia. However, you can also kill Hyetta or use a teleporter at the Four Belfies to find a dead maiden at the start of the game.

Go back to Varre to claim the Pureblood Knight’s Medal, which teleports you to the foot of Mohgwyn Palace.
Touch the Site of Grace in this area. Now, sprint north through the small forest and past a horde of red Albinaurics to reach the Palace Approach Ledge-Road on the other side of the Mohgwyn Palace zone.
Method Two: Consecrated Snowfield Teleporter
The second way to get to the Palace Approach Ledge-Road doesn’t require you to become a Bloody Finger, but it can take much longer to complete. First, you’ll need to access the Consecrated Snowfield.

To do this, you’ll have to get the first half of the Secret Haligtree Medallion from Albus in Liurnia’s Albinauric Village.
Head to Leyndell through either the Dectus Lift or the pathway to the left of the lift. You’ll need to defeat Morgott here to progress to the next zone.
Melina will give you the Rold Medallion after defeating Morgott. This can be used at the Grand Lift of Rold to reach the Mountaintops of Giants. In the deep north of this zone is Castle Sol, where players can find the second half of the Secret Haligtree Medallion.

Once done, go back to the Grand Lift of Rold. Hoist the medallion to be brought to the Consecrated Snowfield.
The teleporter that leads to the Palace Approach Ledge-Road can be found by a cliff to the left of the Yelough Anix Ruins.
