With that said, some of the best weapons in Grounded are unique and often come imbued with extra effects and damage modifiers.
The Spicy Coaltana weapon is one great example. It comes preloaded with the Spicy augment and can be utilized as a light source. Besides, it is also capable of dishing out serious damage once upgraded.

Finding the Spicy Coaltana
Fans will need to travel quite far from the initial spawn point at the Kid’s Case to reach the Spicy Coaltana’s location. This amazing sword in the game is located near the overturned Charcoal Grill, which sits to the left of the large hut in the northwestern area of the map.
Getting to this location isn’t as simple as it seems since players will need to travel a tall stone wall to reach the Upper Yard.
Once you’ve unlocked the way to the Upper Yard or climbed up there, you will need to head up near the legs of the overturned Charcoal Grill, where you can spot a huge bag of charcoal.
To enter the Charcoal bag, players will need to reach the top and look for a small hole torn into the side of the bag. You can also head around the back to find another hole under the sack of coal.
Once you are inside, you should see the Spicy Coaltana stuck inside a Charcoal chunk near the middle. Interacting with it will start a wave-defense encounter where you’ll need to stop the Ladybird Larva from doing too much damage to the sword.
If you succeed, you will be able to claim the Spicy Coaltana and unlock the recipe for it.Â
Defending the Spicy Coaltana
To get the Spicy Coaltana, you will have to defend it against a wave of Ladybird Larva. These creatures in Grounded are strong enough on their own, and dealing with a herd can be a death sentence for unprepared players.
While they are tougher than their normal Larva counterparts, Ladybird Larva operate similarly. These creatures will attempt to attack you or nip you. They will also sometimes dodge players by hopping backward, making it harder to hit them.
Their attacks are also capable of stacking Sizzle, which can cause you to burn.
Players can make quick work of these creatures by using Fresh-imbued Tier 2 or 3 weapons since they take 50% extra damage from the element. Finally, you should avoid using Spicy weapons against Ladybird Larva since they are highly resistant to the element.
Managing The Sizzle Effect
Reaching the Charcoal Bag is no easy task on its own, but you will also need to deal with the Sizzle effect in this area. This causes your character to overheat and begin to take heavy damage over time.
The only way to cool down is to head away from the source or wear a special Antlion Armor to increase your heat resistance.
To make the Antlion Armor, you will have to brave the Sandbox Area, which can be difficult due to the Sizzle effect. Since there are not a lot of covers to be found in the Sandbox, we suggest going to this area during nighttime.
Antlions will pop up from the ground in the Sandbox and are difficult to fight. Players should try their best to find a good weapon like the Pinch Whacker and build stronger armor. Finally, it will take some time to gather the materials for the full Antlion Armor.
Due to this, we strongly suggest that you bring lots of water, food, and healing items.
