The Minotaur Maze Key is an item in the game that players can utilize to open a chest that is at the end of the maze above the Picnic Table. While it is certainly not required to open this container, the BURG.L Chip inside unlocks some powerful rewards.

Minotaur Maze Key Location

Before you try collecting the Minotaur Maze Key, you should ensure that you have access to a Tier-2 blade that is capable of cutting through Soggy Roots. The Bone Dagger is likely to be the first suitable blade that you obtain, and it is crafted at a Workbench from 2 Diving Bell Spider Chunks, 2 Sunken Bones, and 2 Silk Ropes. 

The Spider Fang Dagger is also capable of clearing Soggy Roots, though it is more difficult to make. 

With either a Spider Fang Dagger or Bone Dagger in hand, fans should make their way to the Exposed Pipe, which is located over the small body of water between the Picnic Table and Grounded’s Sandbox. 

Fans can see the location of this pipe marked on the map below, and they should enter it upon arriving. 

After entering the Exposed Pipe, explore the area until you reach another cracked section. From there, dive into the Soggy Roots and clear them to access the Minotaur Maze Key. 

Maze Key Chest Location

As we have mentioned, the Minotaur Maze Key can be used to open a chest that is in the gray stone maze on the Picnic Table. To get to this maze, you should use an explosive to topple over the Leaning Shovel that is close to the southeast corner of the table. 

This action allows fans to climb onto one of the Picnic Table’s benches, and they should navigate to the bench on the other side before using the Cooler Box to get to the top. 

You should also take note that there is a BURG.L Chip inside the Minotaur Maze Key chest, which is the Picnic BURG.L Chip. Returning this item to the Oak Lab will give you the ability to purchase a Food Stuff sign set as well as the SCA.B Scanner module. 

This module can detect Milk Molars in the game. If you manage to collect this chip in the Minotaur Maze, you will also unlock the Mint Mace two-handed weapon.
