How to Get the Haze Lab BURG.L Chip in Grounded

Want to know how you can get the Haze Lab BURG.L Chip in Grounded?

The Haze in Grounded is one of the most aggressive and dangerous areas to explore. This location has a thick yellow toxic shroud that is deadly to players unless disabled. However, players will have to find ways to navigate the Haze to obtain the Haze Super Chip.

This chip is one of many BURG.L chips that you can discover in the game’s Secret Labs, which are crucial to progress your gameplay and escaping the backyard.

Secret Labs in Grounded are often hidden and tricky to explore. They can be discovered in any order, but it’s ideal to track down the Haze Lab after completing the Pond lab in the Koi Pond since you will need underwater equipment to discover all secrets the Haze Lab holds.

In this guide, we will show you how to get the Haze Lab BURG.L Chip in Grounded.

Let’s get right into it!

Haze Lab Location

The entrance to this lab in Grounded is located to the south of the Haze and just in front of the missing BURG.L chip icon on the map. This should show up after speaking with BURG.L in the Great Oak Lab.

The fastest route to get there is to head past the rake and use a dandelion tuft to float down to the opposite area. From there, you can find the entrance in the shallow trenches beyond the juice carton.

On the other hand, you can also build a bridge across the Haze gorges using grass floors to shorten the distance.

You must survive the Haze in the area to get to the entrance, so you’ll need to switch off the gas by plugging the canister hole with gum. This can be harvested with a Tier-2 shover. You can also use a gas mask for protection.

Entering the Haze Lab

To access the Haze Lab, players will need to use an explosive such as a Bratburst or Splatburst made from a mixture of ingredients, including a red ant egg, at a workstation. It is best to prepare this before exploring the Haze.

Toss the explosive and fallback to blast the damaged door safely. Use the biometric scanner inside to open the Haze Lab entrance, where you will find the Trudy Blues recording, Brittle Quartzite Shards, a couple of Fiber Bandages, and some Marble Pieces.

Getting To The Haze Lab Chip

Before reaching the Haze Lab BURG.L chip, you will fight an infected ladybug, one of the hardest opponents in Grounded. Its main attacks include projectile explosives followed by a high-damage shunt movement.

It is best to attack this creature up close using a high-damage weapon like the Red Ant Club and hit the Ladybug when it is firing projectiles.

Infected Mites can also join in the battle, but they can largely be ignored.

Once you’ve defeated the Infected Ladybug, you will unlock the Truffle Tussle mutation. Now, it is time to open the door leading to the super chip. However, keep in mind that there are infected mites on the other side and a Strange Spore.

Inside the door, the Haze Lab BURG.L Chip is located on the table to left, and there are other collectibles to pick up nearby.
