Want to know how you can get the Sword of Milos in Elden Ring?
Elden Ring is full of various greatswords for players to use. However, none of them entirely match the unique features of the Sword of Milos. Besides being a one-of-a-kind weapon, it also packs tons of damage potential and an incredible moveset.
Despite its benefits, the Sword of Milos in Elden Ring is not as easy as finding its location and picking it up.
If you want to get your hands on the Sword of Milos, you’ll have to complete specific milestones within the main story, including reaching Leyndell while following the quests of the Dung Eater.
Luckily, this task is easier to complete with the proper guidance and knowledge.
Today, we’ll show you how to get the Sword of Milos in Elden Ring.
Let’s get right into it!
Finding the Sword of Milos
If you’re looking for the Sword of Milos in Elden Ring, you’ll need to get familiar with the red NPC at the back of the Roundtable Hold. He is called “Dung Eater” in the game, as he’s surrounded by corpses, which is probably from his doing.
You can interact with this NPC and speak to him, but he won’t progress the quest without the correct items.
To earn the Sword of Milos in Elden Ring, you will need a Seedbed Curse to progress the Dung Eater’s quest. You can find one by heading down the first elevator in Leyndell to a room with a perfumer.
From there, take the ladder and follow the path to locate the item. Bring back to Seedbed Curse to the Dung Eater, and he’ll give you a sewer key.
Once done, take the key down to the Subterranean Shunning Grounds under Leyndell.
Follow the sewer system until you reach an open area closed off by gates. On the other side of the gate is the true form of the Dung Eater. Use the sewer key to let the form go, or you can kill it with brute force.
Defeating the Dung Eater rewards you with the Omen armor and the Sword of Milos.
If you decide to let the Dung Eater go, you can find him again in a lake outside the capital. However, you can’t see him until you interact with a note at the Roundtable Hold.
Sword of Milos Moveset
In general, the Sword of Milos performs similarly to other greatswords, especially its light attacks. Using its charge attack, you can lunge forward to a target with an uppercut, which can be a great technique to deal damage.
However, the main features of the Sword of Milos are its passive and the Ashes of War. Bleed is a part of the sword with a buildup of 55. For the Ashes of War ability, you can let out a scream that reduces all damage negations of enemies.
In addition, you can also change the Sword of Milos’ heavy attack to a three swing combo with a single button press.
