How to Get Mighty Globs in Grounded

Want to know where you can get Mighty Globs in Grounded?

Like how Tough Nuggets are used for weapon progression in Grounded, Mighty Globs are resource materials needed for upgrading your weapons from Levels 6 to 7. Despite its weird name, Mighty Globs doesn’t look like globs. 

Instead, they are ingot-shaped bars made from Cool Tough Nuggets. This nugget variant works as a Tier-2 resource of the Tough Nugget category. 

It can also be acquired from different harvestable rocks across the yard. 

For example, Tier-3 Rad Rocks of Fashion and Rad Stones of Toughness drop Cool Tough Nuggets in the game. Due to this, we can say that any rock resource that is Tier-3 and above will likely drop these nuggets in Grounded. 

However, keep in mind that a Black Ox Hammer made from the Black Ox Beetle is needed to break apart the hard layer of Tier-3 rocks. 

One problem about Tier-3 rocks is that, unlike plant-based resources, they do not respawn once harvested. Given that you’ll need around 30 Cool Tough Nuggets for upgrading one weapon, you will need another source of these nuggets if you need Mighty Globs.

Crafting Cool Tough Nuggets

Grounded allows players to craft Cool Tough Nuggets for making Mighty Globs. They can be made by cooking Spider Fangs in an Oven. This can be obtained by slaying Wolf Spiders or their infected variants. 

Needless to say, Wolf Spiders are extremely difficult to fight early on, so players will not likely get their hands on a pair of Spider Fangs until the late stages of their playthrough. 

It is also important to note that the Spider Fangs Oven Recipe for Cool Tough Nuggets is not available by default. Players will have to venture into the perilous Termite Den of the Woodpile biome and slay the powerful Termite King. 

This elite creature protects the Woodpile BURG.L Chip, which is used to unlock the Cool Tough Nuggets crafting recipe for Mighty Globs. 

Mighty Globs also require their own recipe in the game, which is the Advanced Smithing: Mighty Glob recipe. To obtain this upgrade, you must get the Black Anthill BURG.L Chip found in the Black Ant Lab.
