Want to get the Holy Ground Ash of War skill in Elden Ring?
A handful of weapons in Elden Ring come with default weapon arts but you can use Ashes of War to change the skill of most weapons. However, there are some weapons that come with unique and powerful weapon skills that can’t be changed.
It’s also important to remember that some Ashes of War can only be used on specific types of gear.
Choosing the right weapon art is crucial to perfect your Elden Ring build, which gives you a great advantage over bosses. The skills that you can use with your weapon drastically affect your entire gameplay and how you approach enemies.
You can also alter the weapon scaling to match your most used stat points.
In this guide, we’re going to show you how to get the Holy Ground Ash of War skill in Elden Ring.
Holy Ground Ash of War Overview
The Ash of War Holy Ground is among the many equippable weapon skills found throughout the Lands Between. You can equip this Ash of War to your weapon to give it a new skill and scaling effect.
Holy Ground raises your shield to consecrate the land to the Erdtree, which continuously restores HP and boosts defense for your allies in a small AoE.
The Holy Ground Ash of War can be equipped on any type of shield and gives the Holy Ground skill to use. It creates an area around your character that heals yourself and others and provides bonus defense.
Obtaining the Holy Ground Ash of War
To obtain the Holy Ground Ash of War, you need to destroy the chariots in Auriza Hero’s grave. Before the third chariot that leads to the boss room, make a left and jump to the wooden beams below.
Keep heading down until you reach a stone platform with a skeleton on the other side. Go there and before heading out, wait for another chariot to spawn.
Wait for it to go down and head upwards then to the right. Hit the fire-breathing cellar and return to the entrance.
Repeat this process before getting to the boss room and the fourth chariot should spawn in the middle of the wide room where the two chariots are alternating with each other. This causes them to hit each other and grant you the Holy Ground Ash of War along with the Tree Sentinel set.
