Some talismans in Elden Ring can be obtained by players right away. However, the Godskin Swaddling Cloth talisman requires a few tasks and hurdles to jump over. The most time-consuming is to reach the Mountaintop of the Giants. 

To do this, players will need to defeat at least two demi-gods and take on Morgott in the capital.

Once you have access to the mountaintops, you should make your way all the way to the north towards the massive frozen lake. This lake is the house of Borealis, the Ice Dragon, which can be spotted from afar. 

On the right side of the lake, there will be a cave that requires a stonesword key to enter. Like other caves in the game, you’ll have to face a boss at the end. 

For this cave, you’ll have to defeat the spirit version of the Godskin duo. 

The best way to tackle this encounter is to reveal the spiritcaller snail or look for a glow and kill the snail as fast as possible. Defeating the snail will reward you with the Godskin Swaddling Cloth talisman, and the entire encounter should end.
