Overwatch 2
This first person hero shooter was developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. It is the sequel to the highly successful 2016 game Overwatch. Overwatch 2 features player vs player mode with two teams competing towards different objectives in each game mode.
There are 35 unique Heroes that are divided into three different classes: Damage, Support, and Tank. Damage Heroes are the main damage dealers of the team and will focus on attacking and getting kills for their team. Support Heroes use their abilities to buff, heal, or provide attacking opportunities for their teammates. Tank Heroes are meant to get on the frontline and take all the damage and aggression from opponents.
The main difference for Overwatch 2 is that teams have been reduced to five players each instead of the previous six. This was meant to speed up the game by removing one tank and opening up the map for everyone. New game modes like Push, Story Experience, and Hero Missions will allow players to experience Overwatch from a new perspective.
Overwatch 2 is free to play and is expected to be the next main game of the Overwatch esports scene. It is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Windows. You can play cross-platform as well.
What Does the Founder’s Pack Contain
The Founder’s Pack is a highly sought-after pack because it is a limited edition feature and exclusive to loyal Overwatch players. It will include things like the Founder’s Icon, the General Doomfist and Jester Sombra skins, and the brand new Overwatch 2 Hero Kiriko. You will also receive Junker Queen and Sojourn for free.
General Doomfist is a new epic skin that has Doomfist dressed up as a mercenary warlord in reference to his past. The Jester Sombra skin has Sombra dressed up in a green jester costume, complete with the hat, makeup, and bells.
In addition to that, players who will claim the Founder’s Pack will also receive free tiers unlocked in the Season 1 Battle Pass.
How to Get the Founder’s Pack
The Overwatch 2 Founder’s Pack is a special pack released for players of its prequel, Overwatch. This was their way of rewarding loyal players that also transitioned to Overwatch 2. Instead of selling it like the Battle Pass, the Founder’s Pack in Overwatch 2 is completely free as long as you own the original game.

Make Sure You Own Overwatch
Because this pack is exclusive to players of the first game, you must ensure you have access to your Overwatch account. Simply try to log in through the client or the website to see if you still have an active account.
To qualify for the Founder’s Pack, you must have owned the original game before June 23, 2022. Anyone who purchased the game after the game will no longer be eligible to claim the Founder’s Pack. Make sure you had the game before this date before you try to claim the pack.
Blizzard Entertainment has also hinted that there will be an additional “surprise gift” in the Founder’s Pack. It has yet to be announced what this item may be, but players are definitely looking forward to it.
Claim It Before December 5th
As mentioned, the Founder’s Pack in Overwatch 2 is only available for a limited time. You need to claim it as soon as you can. Make sure you finish the claiming process before December 5, 2022. After that, the Founder’s Pack will be unavailable forever. That means you can no longer get any of the exclusive features included in the pack.
All you need to do is log into Overwatch 2 before this date. Next, claim your Founder’s Pack on the game client. After you do that, you should receive all its contents, including the “surprise gift” that developers have been hyping up.
Link Your Battle.Net Account
If you are playing Overwatch 2 on a console, link your account to Battle.net to receive the Founder’s Pack. Overwatch 2 is free to play on any platform, so this should not be a problem. Linking your accounts will also make it easier to access reward packs and items later on.
