How to Get the Flask of Wondrous Physick in Elden Ring

Want to know how you can get the Flask of Wondrous Physick in Elden Ring?

Elden Ring is arguably the best game released in 2022. Within its first month, the game had already sold over 12 million copies.

Following the footprints of previous Soulsborne games, Elden Ring was set on a path of success from the get-go. Like other FromSoftware titles, the game features a vast open world with tons of secret locations, complex puzzles, and powerful bosses.

If you are looking for a game that will test your skills, Elden Ring is what you need.

Despite following the footsteps of previous Soulsborne games, Elden Ring features tons of new mechanics, items, and builds.

The Flask of Wondrous Physick is one such mechanic.

This item is a powerful flask that supplements your default Flask of Crimson and Cerulean Tears. With this item, you’ll be able to mix various concoctions to gain special effects using Crystal Tears that you collect in The Lands Between.

In this guide, we will show you how to get the Flask of Wondrous Physick in Elden Ring.

Let’s get right into it!

Flask of Wondrous Physick Location

Unfortunately, players won’t start Elden Ring with the Flask of Wondrous Physick in their inventory. Due to this, they will have to do some exploring to find it. Luckily, it is not that far from where you start the game.

To find the Flask of Wondrous Physick, head towards East Limgrave and look for the Third Church of Marika. From there, you’ll find the flask in front of the statue.

You will also find your first Crystal Tear here, which is the Crimson Crystal Tear.

With the Flask of Wondrous Physick in your hand, you will get a new option when you access a Site of Lost Grace. Select the Mix Wondrous Physick option, and you’ll be able to mix up to two Crystal Tears to your flask.

The Flask of Wondrous Physick only gets one charge per rest, but the effects last for a while.

Crystal Tear Locations in Limgrave

In total, there are 29 types of Crystal Tears in Elden Ring. Most of them are found near Minor Erdtress, but some are also found out in the wild.

Here are some Crystal Tears you can collect in Limgrave to get you started:

  • Crimson Crystal Tear – you can find this in the Third Church of Marika, where you found the Flask of Wondrous Physick.
  • Crimsonburst Crystal Tear / Oplaine Bubbletear – you can get this Crystal Tear along with the Opaline Bubbletear after defeating the Erdtree Avatar near the Minor Erdtree in Weeping Peninsula.
  • Faith-Knot Crystal Tear – this tear is located north of the Demi-Human Ruins in Weeping Peninsula. It will be in a stone bowl near the cliffs and protected by three poisonous plants.
  • Greenspill Crystal Tear / Spiked Cracked Crystal Tear – you’ll find this Crystal Tear in the Minor Erdtree in the Mistwood region of East Limgrave. The item will be in a small stone bowl together with the Spiked Cracked Crystal Tear.
  • Strength-Knot Crystal Tear – look for a small stone bowl on the plateau just northwest of the Warmaster’s Shack in West Limgrave.
