Moreover, without the help of a map, you can quickly get lost within its cursed depths. Nonetheless, those who manage to find their way will be rewarded with valuable items, including the Fingerprint Stone Shield. 

To get to the greatshield, players must first reach the Cathedral of the Forsaken, the boss arena where they have to defeat Mohg the Omen. 

Once done, they should strike the candle-lit altar behind the boss chest to dispel an Illusory Wall, which reveals a hidden passageway to the spirit sea of Merchant corpses. 

Getting the Greatshield

Starting from the top wooden beam, you must make your way to the lowest rafter below. After that, walk over to the right side of the area and drop below onto an extended sarcophagus lid. 

Fall down again but this time, jump before descending to land on another cover in the same northwestern direction. Turn around to the southeast and leap downward again onto another platform. 

Lastly, the third jump to the northwest will take you to a corridor where the Greatshield is located. 

However, this will likely be the most challenging jump you have to make since you’ll need some momentum to reach the other side of the platform. A corpse with the Inescapable Frenzy spell will be hanging off the lid. 

Make a right and go into the area to find a small structure that houses another item. This item can only be acquired if an enemy destroys the debris for the player. Now, make another right and continue until you reach the end of the hallway.
