How to Find the Hedge Lab and Password in Grounded

Grounded is an online survival game that features amazing landscapes and eccentric characters. In the game, you are shrunk down to the size of an insect and forced to explore and escape the Backyard. 

As you progress your gameplay, you will find various locations and uncover dark secrets of the yard. 

Hedge Lab is a new area in the game, and players can now access it. However, you will need to find the Password to unlock the area. If you are here, we can assume that you are interested in exploring the Hedge Lab. 

To help you out, we’ve decided to make a guide on how to find the Hedge Lab in Grounded.

Hedge Lab Overview

There is no doubt that the Hedge Lab is one of the most ruined locations in Grounded. However, despite its current state, it remains dedicated to studying and researching berries and their various effects. 

Some areas and corridors in the Hedge Lab had already caved in, with vines and other plant life growing through the cracks. There are also walls that have fallen off and crashed onto the Hedge Floor. 

The remaining parts of the lab are infested with Orb Weavers and plant life. Due to this, you must take zip lines to access some parts of the lab. 

Overall, the Hedge Lab is a fascinating place, especially if you are into botany. 

Finding the Hedge Lab

Fans can find the Hedge Lab at the trunk of the large hedge on the top of the stone wall, in the southeast corner of the map. However, getting access to it and finding the password is not as straightforward. 

Unfortunately, you will have to go through many challenges before reaching the lab, and here’s what you need to do to get the password:

Getting to the First Laboratory:

Start your adventure from the Field Station indicated on the map above. From there, go directly to your left side and follow the branch. Continue straight until the branch becomes thinner. Keep in mind not to take the first fork. 

After that, jump to the nearest thick branch at the second fork. If you’ve followed the instructions right, it should be beneath you. 

At the end of the branch, you will see some mushrooms and a juice box. Close to the juice box, there should be a zipline that you can use. Now, jump off from it once you see a sizeable overgrown branch. 

You should spot the first laboratory near you. 

Go inside the lab, and at the end of it, you will find some food, bandages, and overlook notes. You can also destroy 2 TAYZ.T and gain 100 Raw Science for each. 

Reaching the Second Laboratory:

To get to the next laboratory, you will need to go to the front door of the first laboratory. From there, go to the place you’ve jumped down from the zipline and take the left branch at the end of the anchor. 

Follow this path until you meet a thinner branch on your right. There should be some orange mushrooms under it. 

After that, get on to the thinner branch and cross on to the next thick branch. Make a right and go until you meet some eggs. Jump to your left and continue moving forward. From here, you should spot the second laboratory at the end of the branch. 

In this lab, you will find more food, water, outpost notes, and Raw Science. This is also where you will find the first Sacbi piece in the large container in the middle. 

Getting to the Third Laboratory and Main Lab: 

After looting the second lab, come out and make a right. Continue forward until you find large mushrooms on your left, and go along the mushrooms until you see a zipline anchor. 

Use this zipline to reach the opposite end. Take the right branch, and you should see a Frisbee. Jump onto it and continue straight. There should be another branch in this area that go to the left side. 

Head straight until you reach the end of the branch, and you should see another zipline. Use it to get to the third laboratory. 

Keep in mind that you might encounter some spiders in this area. Sadly, there are not many items in the third laboratory. Collect the lootable resources inside and come out of the lab from the back door. 

To reach the Hedge Lab, make an immediate left after heading out, and you should see a Dandelion Tuft. 

Make a parachute and equip it to the glider slot. This should protect you in case you fall. 

Continue straight, and you will spot some Mushrooms again. Once you get past the mushrooms, you will spot a leaf to the right. Jump onto it and get to the next branch. Use this branch and follow its path until you see another zipline anchor. 

Finally, use the final zipline to get to the main laboratory. Go into the lab and activate the computer terminal.
