How to Find the Mount F8 in Fortnite

Do you need to find Mount F8 in Fortnite?

Similar to previous seasons, Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 8 skins are now divided across a number of Battle Pass pages. You can unlock them by either claiming a specific number of rewards or reaching a certain level on your Battle Pass.

For the first page of Season 8’s Battle Pass, you can unlock Toona Fish.

Skins for this season usually come with alternate styles. Toona Fish in particular comes with tons of customization options but you’ll have to do some work to unlock all of them.

You can get more alternate styles for your Toona Fish by collecting Rainbow Ink and Color Bottles. These are collectible loots scattered across Fortnite Island.

If you want specific styles for your Toona Fish, you’ll have to hunt the corresponding Color Bottles for that style. One area where you can gather these bottles is Mount F8. This infamous mountain has been used for many challenges since the start of Chapter 2.

However, Mount F8’s name has been changed and you might be wondering where it’s located.

Today, we’ll show you how to find Mount F8 in Fortnite.

Let’s dive right in!

Where Is Mount F8 in Chapter 2: Season 8?

For Chapter 2, Season 8, you can find Mount F8 just south of Misty Meadows. It sits to the west of Destined Dish. This mountain doesn’t have any vegetation on its surface, making it easier to spot.

Mount F8 is not usually a location Fortnite players pay attention to unless there’s a specific quest that instructs them to go there. The mountain doesn’t contain any loot or NPCs, explaining why players don’t waste time going there.

Well for this season, players may be forced to visit Mount F8 if they are after the Stone Grey color bottle.

Mount F8’s surface will contain a set of three Stone Grey bottles which can be used to modify the Toona Fish skin. Similar to the Kymera alien skin and Alien Artifacts from the previous season, Color Bottles go hand and hand with Toona Fish.

If you wish to customize your Toona Fish, you’ll have to collect the appropriate Color Bottles to unlock a color and style.

In total, there are 21 sets of Color Bottles in Fornite Island. However, more are expected to be released in the upcoming updates. Collecting the Color Bottles in Mount F8 will allow you to unlock the Stone Grey color and the Love Ranger Toona Fish style.
