Do you want to know how to find Melina’s location in Elden Ring?
Melina is a vital NPC in Elden Ring that will help you level up. She will also introduce you to the hub area Roundtable Hold.
One of the first NPCs that you’ll encounter as soon as you set foot in The Lands Between will inform you of a location called Roundtable Hold. This is basically the Firelink Shrine-like location in Elden Ring.
For added difficulty, the game will not tell you how to find the Roundtable Hold. This means that you’ll have to figure that out on your own.
The key to the Roundtable’s location is with Melina. She’s an NPC similar to the Firekeeper in Dark Souls title. She’ll assist you in leveling up and will give you an invite to the Roundtable Hold.
In this guide, we’ll show you where to find Melina’s location in Elden Ring.
Let’s get started!
Finding Melina in Elden Ring
After entering Limgrave at the start of Elden Ring, you’ll arrive at the Site of Grace called The First Step. Here, you’ll encounter a mysterious NPC who doesn’t state his name. Besides that, he’ll mock you for being “maidless”, then give you information about the “guidance of grace”.
This is a guidance system that you’ll see as a golden marker on your map that leads into the distance once you rest at the Site of Grace.

Upon reaching the end of the marker, you’ll be able to go anywhere you want.
However, instead of fighting the Erdtree Burial Watchdog or wandering blindly, follow the light to the north until you reach the Church of Elleh.
Rest at the nearby Site of Grace and speak to the merchant Kale.
He’ll offer you some good stuff, including crafting cookbooks that are proven helpful along your journey. Once done, continue heading northeast.
As you traverse the path, you’ll pass through a small wooded area that leads to a large field. In front would be another ruin and a castle gate to the left. Don’t mind this area and continue northeast around the structure until you see another Site of Grace named Agheel Lake North.

Once you rest at the third Site you encounter, Melina should show up and grant you the ability to level up and access to Torrent.
If you don’t follow the path above, you can find Melina on the path toward Stormveil Castle, but you’ll have to get through a bunch of enemies to reach this point.
How to Level Up in Elden Ring
After finding Melina in Elden Ring, you’ll be able to level up your stats at any Site of Grace in The Lands Between. Thankfully, it’s not like other Souls games where you’ll need to visit her to upgrade your stats.
However, you’ll need some Runes to level up your stats. If you’ve reached this game point, you should know that you can get them from just about anywhere on the map.
In general, the best way to get them is by hunting wildlife, defeating enemies, clearing mini-bosses and bosses, and searching for Runes on graves and other structures.
Once you have enough Runes, head to any Site and choose the “Level Up” option under “Pass Time”. This should bring up your stats page, complete with attribute points, attack power, defense power, and resilience.

You’ll also be able to see your overall player level, Runes owned, and Runes needed to upgrade your stats.
Simply highlight the attribute point you want to increase and press the right D-Pad on your controller or click the right arrow next to the attribute. This should move the attribute up one level.
Finally, hit “Confirm” if you’re satisfied with the upgrade.
