Want to know how you can find a Glider in Dinkum?
Dinkum is steadily attracting the attention of many players. This game combined the mechanics you’ll see on Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It sets you on an island where you need to survive and build a community out of nothing.Â
The map of Dinkum is actually quite big once you get to see the whole of it. While it’s a great help to have an auto-run feature, which enables you to get from point A to B faster, you’ll eventually get tired of walking once you’ve explored more areas.
Having something like an air glider is a good idea so you can travel your island faster.
This should open up more opportunities and allow you to focus on farming or hunting instead of wasting time walking.
With motorbikes and vehicles being quite expensive in the game, the second best option to get around the land of Dinkum is using the rowboat or glider.
In this guide, we’ll show you how you can find the Glider in Dinkum.
Let’s dive right in!
Getting the Glider in Dinkum
One of the first things you will need in Dinkum to secure a glider is a Deep Mining License. The glider is a random item in the game that can be found by luck in chests. They are also a very rare item, and players will need to do some digging in the deep mines to get them.

Of course, you will also need to create the mine itself, so obtaining the glider isn’t as simple as you might think.Â
Deep Mining
The first thing you need to do to get started with Deep Mining is secure the required license. You can head over to Fletch to secure a Deep Mining License, which costs 3500 Permit Points. This allows you to purchase the Mine pass and the Mine Deed.
Once you have secured the Deep Mining License, you will need to head over to John’s shop and buy a Mine Pass.

This will set you back 25000 Dinks and will give you access to the mine elevator once.
After buying a Mine Pass, head back to Fletch to secure the deeds. From the list, you can get the Mine Deed. Highlight it from the menu and hit Apply. This will put your town into a 250,000 Debt.
Besides the cost of the Mine Pass, you’ll also have to create your own elevator to gain access to the mine.

Finding the Glider
After setting up your mine, you are now ready to scorch the minefield and get yourself that precious glider. When going down the mine, we recommend bringing a torch, pickaxe, some bombs, and a decent weapon.
Exploring the mines won’t be a walk in the park since the place would be glowing with bats and crocodiles.
Besides that, you will also need at least two old keys to open a chest.

When going through the mines, you should keep an eye on your mini-map for anything that is gray in color. This means that you’ve found yourself a key room.
Most of the time, its entrance is blocked by rocks, so you’ll have to dig to get to the door. Each room will have two doors, and you’ll need two old keys to open them. If you did not find a glider, repeat the process until you find one.
Sadly, there’s no way to tell whether you are going to uncover a glider or some other items. With a bit of patience and some time, you’ll eventually find a glider,Â
