Finding Gene Zaroothian

Gene Zaroothian in High On Life is actually sleeping on the bench near the front of your home. Look over at the alien-like billboard/plaza with green creatures and an ad for Gene Zaroothian, a purple alien wearing armor. 

Start heading in this direction, but stop and speak with the alien sitting on the bench to your right. 

He’ll tell you that he recently saw Gene sleeping on a bench nearby. You’ll be able to find Gene to the left of the purple alien crossing the railing. 

Talk with the other NPCs sauntering around, which might have some comments about Gene Zaroothian. Despite being a famous bounty hunter, aliens in Blim City almost have zero praise for him. 

From here, you’ll realize that Gene Zaroothian isn’t what he used to be. His glory days are over and the once-famous hunter has been homeless for quite a while and has a pair of amputated legs. 

His things are scattered around him, including the bounty hunter suit that you’ll eventually end up using. 

Bringing Gene Home

Upon approaching Gene, Kenny will initiate a conversation to get things moving. You’ll also come up with a deal where he will move into your amazing home in exchange for the Bounty Hunter suit. 

This is the natural progression of High On Life, so you won’t have any option but to welcome Gene. It is also nice that Lizzie will have company while you’re out collecting bounties. 

Taking Gene Zaroothian home with you will also start your bounty-hunting adventure using the suit you’ve obtained.
