Want to know how you can craft and repair glue in Grounded?
In its early stages, Grounded is quite punishing, especially if you are still learning the game. From the moment you are dropped into the backyard, you will be forced to contend with a multitude of massive bugs.
Gathering food and water is difficult enough with all the hostile creatures around, and this becomes even deadlier at night when creatures begin prowling each area.
Due to this, it is important for new players to get upgraded gears as quickly as possible.
The game also gets easier as soon as you start making powerful weapons and heavier armor. Unfortunately, weapons and armor break down over time due to Grounded’s degradation system.
Most low-level items in the game can be repaired by grabbing the necessary materials, but higher-tier gear needs extra ingredients, like Repair Glue.
In this guide, we will show you how to craft Repair Glue in Grounded.
Let’s get started!
Finding Repair Glue in Grounded
While Repair Glue is necessary for fixing high-level items, it will take players some time and resources to make it. In order to craft Repair Glue in Grounded, you will first need to gain access to the Glue Masher.
The blueprint for this can only be unlocked by purchasing it in the store for 500 Science. However, BURG.L will only offer it after you have retrieved the Black Anthill BURG.L chip.

Getting this chip means you will need to make it through the Black Anthill Lab and defeat a Mini-Boss called Assistant Manager.
The Black Anthill Lab is divided into two sectors, but you should begin your feat in Sector A since you will need to navigate through it to gain access to Sector B. The most straightforward path to Sector A is to enter the Black Anthill that is buried deep in the middle of the Trash Heap.
This area is in the southwestern portion of the map, near the house. You should keep in mind that you need a Gas Mask to navigate the noxious fumes from the Trash Heap and carry a torch to see inside the Black Anthill.
You will know that you are near Sector A once you notice wires jutting out from the ceiling of the anthill.
Exploring Anthill Lab
Once you are inside, you will need to progress through the lab using an explosive to take out the rock blocking the path and fight some TAYZ.Ts until you reach a switch. Tapping this switch will open the array of “A” labeled doors, including one back near the entrance that leads to a small cave that drops into Sector B.

Continue exploring Sector B until you reach another switch that unlocks all “B” doors. After this, you can continue to the start of the lab and head through a new “B” labeled door.
In this new area, you will tangle with some Black Ant Soldiers and find a button that opens a nearby door. Inside is a glass with a small crack in it. You can use explosives to get through the glass and into the arena to fight the Assistant Manager Mini-Boss.

Once the boss is downed, you will gain access to the keycard, which can be used on a door nearby.
From here, you will find the BURG.L chip that you can take back to BURG.L to gain access to Advanced Smithing: Glue Masher blueprint.
Glue Masher and Repair Glue
After you have obtained the blueprint for the Glue Masher, you can start building it using these items:
- 3x Sprig
- 3x Acorn Shell
- 2x Crude Rope
- 1x Stinkbug Part
Once you have built the Glue Masher, you can create Repair Glue by tossing Bug Parts into the machine. Here’s a look at the quantities of parts to create a Repair Glue (you only need one type of these items to make a Repair Glue):
- 10x Mint Shard
- 10x Sour Lump
- 10x Spicy Shard
- 8x Spider Chunk
- 6x Stinkbug Part
- 5x Ladybug Part
- 5x Bombardier Part
- 4x Termite Part
- 3x Antlion Part
- 2x Black Ox Part
- 2x Roly Poly Part
