Need to complete Hyetta’s quest in Elden Ring?
Elden Ring is the latest offering from FromSoftware. Within its first few months, the game already sold over 12 million copies across all platforms.
As you explore The Lands Between in Elden Ring, you’ll come across various NPCs that will offer quests and tasks. Hyetta is a character in Elden Ring that is journeying in search of the distant light.
Players can help her with that endeavor by working through an optional questline that features several tasks.
However, players should complete Irina’s questline first in Elden Ring before they can encounter Hyetta. Players can start this storyline by speaking with Irina in the Weeping Peninsula, south of the Bridge of Sacrifice.
This also requires a trip to Castle Morne at the southern end of the area.
In this guide, we will tell you everything you need to know to complete Hyetta’s quest in Elden Ring.
Let’s dive right in!
Hyetta and Shabriri Grape (1)
For this part, players should figure out how to beat Godrick the Grafted who is situated at the end of Stormveil Castle in Elden Ring. After defeating this powerful boss, players can pass through the throne room and go through the door on the left.
You can check our detailed guide on how to beat Godrick the Grafted in Elden Ring if you are having a hard time.
After that, descend and you’ll find a Shabriri Grape on the ground beside a phantom. Once you have the Shabriri Grape, continue traveling until you reach the Liurnia region.
Head to the Lake-Facing Cliff Site of Grace and give the item to Hyetta.
Hyetta and Shabriri Grape (2)
The Purified Ruins are just northeast of the Lake-Facing Cliff Site of Grace and this is the next location to advance this questline. In the eastern portion of the ruins, players should look for a series of wood planks on the ground. This can be broken to reveal an underground stairway.
These stairs will lead to a chest that contains the second Shabriri Grape that also needs to be taken to Hyetta.
You can find her standing against the western ruins’ exterior wall.
Hyetta and Shabriri Grape (3)
After giving the third Shabriri Grape, players should now head to the Revenger’s Shack in west Liurnia, just north of the Minor Erdtree.
From here, players will be invaded by Edgar the Revenger, and killing him will reward you with the third Shabriri Grape. This key item can then be taken to Hyetta, which you’ll find standing near the Gate Town Bridge Site of Grace north of the Purified Ruins.
After handing over the grape, players should fast travel back to the Gate Town Bridge to reload the area. Speak with Hyetta once again to progress her quest.
The next step in this quest is to defeat the Festering Fingerprint Vyke and obtain the Fingerprint Grap. This invader is located near the Church of Inhibition in northeast Liurnia.
To reach him, start from the entrance to Grand Lift of Dectus. From there, travel southeast up the grassy slope and turn west to pass through the Frenzied Flame Village. Now, head northwest on the other side of the village to approach the Church of Inhibition.
Once done, Hyetta is now in Bellum Church, which is southwest of the Grand Lift of Dectus. Give the Fingerprint Grape to her to advance the quest.
Hyetta Location (5)
For this part, players must now make their way to the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds, which are located beneath Leyndell in the Altus Plateau region. To get to this location, you must make your way to the Avenue Balcony Site of Grace in Leyndell, descend the nearby stairs, pass through the door, and turn left.
Now, walk toward the banister in front and make a right. Continue heading forward until you see a protrusion in the banister. Jump over the barrier afterward and you’ll come across a well that you can fall into.
Once you’re in the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds, you must work your way through the entirety of the area to reach Mohg, the Omen.
After defeating this boss, players must now proceed to the chest room and hit the altar behind it to reveal a hidden pathway. Follow this passage until you reach a large pit and use the planks and platforms to get close to the bottom.
Players should then jump into the pit to break the floor and reach Hyetta.
