Do you need to complete the Epistrophy Quest in Cyberpunk 2077?
Epistrophy is a side job quest in the popular title Cyberpunk 2077. This quest tasks players with finding seven haywire Villefort Delamain Cabs that have gone missing across Night City.
This quest becomes available after finishing “Tune Up” and “Human Nature”, which are two sequential side jobs that can be accessed after completing the main story quest, Playing for Time.
Unfortunately, completing the tedious task of finding all Delamain’s Cabs will not reward you with enough reward, like the drivable gilded taxi.
However, players will receive a handful of eurodollars for their efforts, including character EXP and Street Cred. In addition, completing the Epistrophy quest will continue Delamain’s story with the side job “Don’t Lose Your Mind”.

Starting Epistrophy Quest
To get started on Epistrophy in Cyberpunk 2077, players will have to speak with the taxi AI at Delamain HQ. After giving V a tour of the area, Delamain gives players Delamain’s Scanner, a quest item that is used for retrieving the rogue cabs.
Although the first Delamain Cab location in Wellsprings is marked on the map, retrieving the remaining vehicles can be quite a challenge for many players.
Wellsprings
After you have arrived at the cab’s location in Wellsprings, the rogue taxi will attempt to run you over, after which the hostile AI will exclaim a vulgar greeting and drive off. However, chasing the rogue cab on foot is impractical.
Due to this, we suggest players call their vehicle or steal one from a random NPC in the open world.
To subdue this cab, players need to deal enough damage to the car. Keep in mind that it will repeatedly attempt to run you over. Attack the vehicle by ramming it while driving or shooting it with one of your weapons.
Northside
The rogue cab in Northside will be parked in a small alleyway in the area. When you approach the vehicle, it will immediately become active, darting off through the industrial section of Northside.
Drive after the cab, chasing it through the dirt trails and empty warehouses.
We also encourage players to use a gamepad controller while pursuing this Delamain Cab, as using a mouse and keyboard is proven to be challenging.
After a while, the rogue cab will reach a fixed location where it will crash into a pile of trash.
North Oak
The next Delamain Cab in Cyberpunk 2077 can be found driving slowly and endlessly within a roundabout on the outskirt roads of North Oak. After a dialogue with V, the protagonist, this rogue cab will express its disdain for the loud and crowded life in the city.
However, it does not wish to return to Delamain’s HQ on its own but instead asks players to get into the driver’s seat and manually return it.
While it asks that you drive carefully and not crash, there won’t be any penalties for bumping into a few posts and obstacles. However, if you drive relentlessly for an extended period, the Delamain Cab will force you to drop driving for a few seconds.
Rancho Coronado
Cyberpunk 2077 players can find another Delamain Cab in the southeastern neighborhoods of Rancho Coronado, driving aimlessly through the streets. This cab claims that the flamingo decorations outside people’s homes are tormenting its mind.
Now, to bring this rogue cab back to Delamain HQ, players must follow the HUD markers and destroy all the flamingos in the yards of the neighborhood.
If you are using a gamepad, using your car to run into the plastic birds is recommended. For keyboard and mouse players, it is more convenient to get out of your car and shoot the flamingos.
Badlands
One of the easiest rogue cabs to retrieve during the Epistrophy quest is the one in Badlands. All players must do for this cab is to approach it, climb into the backseat, and talk with the rouge AI for less than a minute.
Once the conversation is done, Delamain will call V and send the Eddies to their account.
The only thing left to do is get through all the garbage along the narrow roads of the Badlands. The collision boxes of the trash bins can be annoying to deal with in Cyberpunk.
The Glen
Like the runaway cab in the Badlands, the Delamain Cab located in The Glen only wants to speak with V before agreeing to go back to the headquarters.
Coastview
This final rogue cab in Cyberpunk 2077 will start similar to the cab chase in Northside. Fans will be forced to chase after the vehicle through the streets of Pacifica. However, this cab has a surprise ambush in store along the way.
After chasing this rogue cab, it will eventually stop in an underpass, where a group of Gangoons will attempt to kill V.
Thankfully, there’s plenty of debris and objects in the area to use as cover while taking care of the hostile enemies. After clearing the area, speak with the cab and pursue it to return to Delamain HQ.
After locating all seven Delamain Cab locations in Night City, Cyberpunk 2077 fans need to go to Delamain HQ and return the scanner.
