Medieval Dynasty
Medieval Dynasty is a new open-world adventure game developed by Render Cube and published by Toplitz Productions. First released in September 2021, the game was made available for Windows, the PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series X and S. For PC players, you can purchase the game from either Steam or through the Xbox Game Pass.
The game is set in Europe in the Middle Ages. You will play as a poor peasant who is just trying to avoid having to fight in more wars. At first, you will need to find food, water, and shelter to survive. As you progress, you will be able to find a wife, start a family, and eventually build your own village. Keep working on your village until it becomes a bustling town of industry and a close-knit community.
There are many different skills and activities that you can do in Medieval Dynasty. There are currently six different skills that come with their own technology tree. As you practice each skill, you will earn more technology points and will become more proficient. There are a total of 10 skill levels for each individual skill.

How to Find Clay
Clay is not an immediately available resource in Medieval Dynasty. You will have to extract them from Clay Deposits using a shovel. Despite that, it is quite easy to find these deposits all over the map.
You just need to explore the wilderness. If you already have a home or village, start looking in the forests nearby. You can also check out the shores of rivers and lakes. Once you find a good spot with some Clay Deposits, make sure you remember it for later. You can find as many spots as you want and mark them all on your map.
Extracting Clay
Before you can start extracting Clay, you need the right tool first. Thankfully, a Shovel is pretty easy to make. First, you will need to decide what kind of Shovel you want to build. You may choose from Wooden, Copper, Bronze, or Iron Shovels in the game. If you are only starting out, you will want to make a Wooden Shovel as it is the easiest to craft.
To craft a Wooden Shovel, you only need 2 Logs. Bring those Logs to a Workbench at a Smithy. You can also handcraft this Shovel, but it may take longer. If you can make a better Shovel, you should go for that. The Iron Shovel is the best in the game by far. It requires 5000 Production technology points to unlock. You then need 2 Logs and 4 Iron bars to be processed on the Anvil at a Smithy.
Now that you have a handy Shovel, you can start mining some Clay. Go back to the spots you have previously marked. Use your Shovel on each Clay Deposit to start mining. Each Clay Deposit will yield around 3 to 8 units of Clay. There is also a 5% chance of finding some treasure in these deposits.
If you have the Extraction Treasure Hunter skill unlocked, you may find some extra items as well. There is a 43% chance of finding a Throwing Stone and a 29% chance of finding a Wooden Shovel. Less likely are Stone Arrows and Silver Earrings at a 14% chance.
What to Craft With Clay
There are a few things you can craft with Clay. The first and most commonly crafted is Daub. This resource is unlocked at 10 Farming technology points. You will then need to buy the scheme for it for 50 Coins. Daub is used to upgrade your house’s wooden walls and improve insulation. After this upgrade, the house’s residents will have a better mood while inside. The house will also consume less wood.
To craft some Daub, you need to have a Barn with a functional Workbench. Each batch of Daub will require 10 Clay and 10 Straw to make. One batch yields 10 pieces of Daub as well. It is also important to note that each full wooden wall will need 8 pieces of Daub to upgrade. For other parts of your walls, you just need 6 Daub pieces.
If you already have some villagers, you can assign one to become a Barn Worker. You can then ask them to make Daub as long as you have enough Clay and Straw.
