Where to Find All Cemetery Shades in Elden Ring

Are you looking for all the Cemetery Shades in Elden Ring?

One of the main attractions of Elden Ring is the various bosses that you’ll encounter as you explore The Lands Between.

Besides the vast number of bosses in the game, Elden Ring also features difficult gameplay, which can be frustrating at times. Nonetheless, the game draws inspiration from other Soulsborne titles, and long-time fans will surely enjoy it.

The Cemetery Shades in Elden Ring are black creatures that appear in dungeons in The Lands Between. These NPCs wield a weapon called the Mantis Blade, which has the ability to double its size, making its attacks harder to avoid.

Cemetery Shades also possesses the ability to stun players for a brief moment, allowing them to come in and strike further.

Due to this, it is important to be careful when facing these hostile NPCs, or they will end your playthrough swiftly.

Today, we will show you where you can find all Cemetery Shades in Elden Ring.

Let’s dive right in!

Weeping Peninsula

The very first Cemetery Shade boss that you’ll encounter in the game is at the bottom of the Weeping Peninsula. This is the area south of Limgrave, across the Sacrificial Bridge. After reaching this area, head south until you see a road that splits.

Take the path west, and you’ll come across the Tombsward Catacombs near the road in the middle of Weeping Peninsula.

The boss will be inside the dungeon and will reward you with the summon ash for Lhutel the Headless if you defeat it.

Liurnia

The nearest graveyard shadow is located in Liurnia. This is the land to the north of Limgrave, which is on the opposite side of Stormveil Castle. The Cemetery Shade in this location is at the end of the Black Knife Catacomb.

There will also be a Black Knife Assassin in these catacombs, but that would be a separate boss fight. To get to the catacombs, head north in Liurnia and then east, where the land meets the lake at the center of the region.

Take the path heading north along the cliff, and you’ll come across a few cliffs with tombstones sticking out of them. Once you’ve defeated the boss, he’ll drop the Twinsage Sorcerer Ashes.

Caelid

The final Cemetery Shade in Elden Ring is in the Caelid region east of Limgrave. This area is where things start to get tricky, so players must stay alert. After reaching Caelid, make your way towards the impassable Great Bridge southeast.
