All Bosses in Consecrated Snowfields in Elden Ring

Need a list of all the bosses in Consecrated Snowfields in Elden Ring?

Elden Ring is one of the best games of 2022, with over 12 million copies sold within its first month. This new title from FromSoftware follows the footprint of other Soulsborne games with improved mechanics and character progression.

Like other FromSoftware games, Elden Ring packs a massive open world with tons of areas to explore, puzzles to solve, and bosses to fight.

The Consecrated Snowfields is one of the many areas you can explore in the game.

Once you reach the Consecrated Snowfields in Elden Ring, you are in for low visibility and high-difficulty enemies.

There are also a few dungeons and bosses within the blizzard, and we’ll show you where exactly to find them.

In this guide, we’ve listed down all the bosses you’ll face in the Consecrated Snowfields in Elden Ring.

Let’s get right into it!

Astel, Stars of Darkness

This boss is a variant of Astel, Naturalborn of the Void, which means that the same strategy applies here. The Stars of Darkness version is the boss of the Yelough Ani Tunnel Dungeon. You’ll find the entrance to the dungeon in the area marked below, along the western edge of the location.

Astel

This fight will almost always start with the boss firing a beam of magic directly at you. Due to this, you’ll need to be ready to roll away right from the get-go.

Astel, Stars of Darkness is also capable of creating a circular radius of magic damage on the ground, which expands in range with 3 to 4 pulses. This attack is preceded by the boss hovering in the air while generating purple magic balls in its hands.

Death Rite Bird

The Death Rite Bird is located at the frozen pool southeast of the Apostate Derelict Site of Grace, in northwest Mountaintops of the Giants. This is essentially the same fight as the one above, with the main difference being the types of attacks used.

This boss fires balls of magic, which hones in your location and explodes upon impact. They move fairly slowly, but it can be deceptive if you are not paying close attention.

To avoid this attack, you should dodge or roll out of the way moments before the ball is about to hit you.

Erdtree Avatar

The Erdtree Avatar boss can be found at the Erdtree south of the Snow Valley Ruins Overlook Site of Grace, in northeast Mountaintops of the Giants. This encounter is similar to other Erdtree Avatars, and it will likely use the same attacks.

However, the key difference is that as you bring the boss to around half of its health, it will split into two.

This means that you’ll need to fight two Erdtree Avatars at once, each with the same amount of HP and the same attacks and movesets. If you want to survive the fight, you will need to become familiar with the Erdtree Avatar’s attack patterns.

Great Wyrm Theodorix

This boss in Elden Ring is located in the frozen river northeast of the Inner Consecrated Snowfield Site of Grace, in western Mountaintops of the Giants. This boss is capable of using lava attacks, melee strikes, tail swipes, and a sword from its right arm.

The Great Wyrm Theodorix has a lot of versatility when it comes to close-range attacks but can also reach you from a distance using tail swipes and sword attacks.

This boss also spews lava, which drops into pools on the ground.

Due to this, you’ll have to keep an eye out for these pools of lavas as you move around the boss area. Unlike larger bosses, the Great Wyrm Theodorix moves fairly quickly.

Misbegotten Crusader

The Misbegotten Crusader can be found at the Cave of the Forlorn, northeast of the Inner Consecrated Snowfield Site of Grace, in western Mountaintops of the Giants. This encounter is similar to the one you’ve fought in Caelid, with the main difference being the type of weapon the boss uses.

The Golden Order Greatsword allows the boss to use a Golden Order Blessing, which generates a swift shockwave attack around him and ends with the crusader casting a rune arc in a wide radius.

You will need to dodge or roll away from the first shockwave, then be ready to roll through the rune arcs to avoid its damage.

That ends our list of the bosses you’ll encounter in Consecrated Snowfields in Elden Ring. If you have further questions regarding this area, please drop a comment below, and we’ll do our best to help.
