As a Bruiser, this character focuses on close-ranged fighting and tanking a good bit of damage from opponents. Most Bruisers in the game are quite balanced, but some also have interesting tricks that can change the game.
Morty is one of those Fighters. Some of his combos can frustrate opponents by dealing damage and Weakening them for a while. Morty Smith
Morty Smith is half of the protagonist duo from the very popular cartoon series Rick and Morty. He is the grandson of the other half, Rick Sanchez, who also happens to be a Fighter in MultiVersus. Known for traveling around the universe with Rick, Morty is usually the sidekick to all his grandfather’s genius plans and adventures.
Because he is a Bruiser, most of Morty’s repertoire focuses on close-ranged combat while being balanced offensively and defensively. To unlock Morty, you will need to pay 3000 Gold, spend 700 Gleamium, or use one of the Character Tickets you can get from the Founder’s Pack.
Morty’s ground attacks include Aw Geez, Snakes!, Plumbus Time!, Aw Geez, More Snakes!, and Unresolved Anger Issues. His Snakes move revolve around throwing a snake projectile and pulling off combos around it. Plumbus Time! is a good support move that lets Morty use his plumbus to Cleanse allies of debuffs or Weaken enemies that he hits.
For his special attacks, Morty still uses his grenade projectile along with other moves. Power of Earth! is a charge move that can be used in combination with Morty’s grenades. This is a fairly common combo for Morty mains, but beginners may take some time before mastering it. Most players use the upwards knockback combo when Morty’s other more powerful abilities are on cooldown. You can also use it to cancel the enemy team’s combo or buy time for your own teammate to make a play.
While it is not Morty’s best finishing move, it can still knock an enemy off the stage with the right timing. When you spot an opponent that is extremely low on health, the quick upwards knockback combo can be fast enough to finish them off.

For beginners, the dunking juggle combo starts with an aerial side special attack to slam an opponent, a basic ground attack, then a three-hit side ground attack combo to finish it off.
