Want to know how you can beat Ner’zhul in World of Warcraft?
World of Warcraft is an MMORPG created by Blizzard Entertainment back in November of 2004. MMORPGs are games where hundreds or thousands of players can basically play together on one server.
World of Warcraft offers tons of raids and dungeons that players can participate in to earn experience and valuable loot.
For this guide, we will set our sights on Ner’zhul in the Sanctum of Dominations.
Ner’zhul is the fourth boss that you’ll encounter in the Sanctum of Dominations raid. This particular raid revolves around managing space limiting mechanics in a small map. It has three phases, and each stage ramps up the difficulty of mechanics Ner’zhul throws at you.
However, you don’t have to worry because we’ve got you covered.
Today, we will show you the best way to tackle the fourth level of the Sanctum of Dominations to beat Ner’zhul.
Let’s get started!
Remnant of Ner’zhul Overview
During this encounter, the main thing you have to keep in mind is to dispel players with Malevolence debuff once they move towards the platform’s edge. This will knock everyone away from the affected player and knock the debuffed player backward.

For tanks, you should hit the orbs with the frontal from the boss and taunt swap after each frontal. You should also kill every orb when they’re hit by a frontal and have another player pick it up and throw it off the platform.
Lastly, you should dodge swirlies and cones on the ground.
Ner’zhul Full Strategy Guide
During the Ner’zhul encounter in World of Warcraft, you’ll have to remember these things:
Malevolence Debuff
When a player gets debuffed by Malevolence, they need to run to the edge and face towards the edge and ask your healer to dispel them. Dispelling Malevolence will knock everyone in the raid away from the affected player.

The debuffed player will also get knocked away toward where their back is facing, so it’s crucial to face towards the edge.
The tricky part about this mechanic is that two players get Malevolence debuff simultaneously. You’ll have to decide who to dispel first without knocking anyone off the platform.
Orb of Torment Mechanic
When an Orb of Torment mob spawns, the assigned tank should be ready to aim the boss’s frontal at it. This wil make it exposed to damage. This happens when the current boss reaches 100 energy, and it has a super long range Suffering.
Tanks should also taunt swap after each frontal. This will drastically increase their damage taken from the next frontal.
They should also remember that multiple orbs can spawn simultaneously. Tanks need to be ready to position the boss to hit every orb with a single frontal.
When an orb is hit by a frontal, the DPS player should quickly kill it, and another player should pick it up and throw it off the platform using the extra action button. This will spare you from the raid damage spammed by orbs.
We recommend Demon Hunters to pick up the orbs or any player that can quickly get to the edge since you get slowed by the orb and take DoT damage.
Other Things to Remember
When the boss reaches 80, 60, and 30% health, it will blast the entire raid, and everyone should dodge the swirlies on the ground (Shatter). Remember that more swirlies are generated each time, and small ones start to spawn randomly during the entire raid.

Getting hit by these swirlies will disable your ability to attack or cast for a few seconds (Spite).
Occasional cones can also spawn on the ground from the center of the room. You need to dodge them, or you’ll take tons of damage and get potentially knocked out of the platform.
Optional Achievement from Remnant of Ner’zhul.
If you’re up for the challenge, Remnant of Ner’zhul features an optional achievement called ‘I Used to Bullseye Deeprun Rats Back Home’. Completing this achievement and other optional challenges found in the Sanctum of Domination will reward you with the Glory of the Dominant Raider meta-achievement.
You’ll also get the Bracer of Hrestimorak to teach you the unique Hand of Hrestimorak mount.
