All Legendary Armaments in Elden Ring

Want to know where you can find all the legendary armaments in Elden Ring?

Currently, there are nine legendary armaments available in Elden Ring. These are the most powerful weapons that any player can get in The Lands Between.

Although you can beat Elden Ring without ever picking up any legendary armament, completionists out, there might be interested to know where they can find them. Locating these armaments also rewards players.

Unfortunately, being the most powerful isn’t always the best in Elden Ring. As it turns out, legendary armaments aren’t necessarily the best weapons to equip your character.

The decision for the best weapon for your character still boils down to your playstyle and the type of build you want to achieve. It is also worth knowing that you can’t use Ashes of War on legendary armaments.

With that out of the way, here are all the legendary armaments in Elden Ring and where you can find them.

Let’s dive right in!

Grafted Blade Greatsword

Grafted Blade Greatsword

Skill: Oath of Vengeance

Requirements: 40 STR / 14 DEX

Location: Dropped by Leonine Misbegotten in Castle Morne (Weeping Peninsula)

The Grafted Blade greatsword has a relatively high stat requirement. Besides, this weapon is quite heavy, which means you’ll have to invest in your endurance if you want to keep your character’s mobility.

The good thing about it is that your character will look amazing while wielding it. It’s a pierce of the iron throne, and its skill boosts all your attributes for a given time.

You can pick this armament early on, though, you won’t have the stats to use it right away.

Dark Moon Greatsword

Dark Moon Greatsword

Skill: Moonlight Greatsword

Requirements: 16 STR / 11 DEX / 38 INT

Location: Reward for completing Ranni’s quest

If you’ve been playing FromSoftware titles for a while, you’ll know that Dark Moon Greatsword continues the tradition of the iconic blade.

Its skill Moonlight Greatsword empowers the weapon to deal bonus magic damage and sends out its signature magic beams on heavy attacks. What makes this greatsword good is that it only costs FP to empower the weapon.

This means that you can send as many moonbeams as you wish while the buff remains active.

Sword of Night and Flame

Sword of Night and Flame

Skill: Night and Flame Stance

Requirements: 12 STR / 12 DEX / 24 INT / 24 FAITH

Location: Inside a chest at Caria Manor in Liurnia of the Lakes

The Sword of Night and Flame requires a high Intelligence and Faith stat if you plan on using it for your character. The Night and Flame Stance allows you to perform light attacks that launch magic beams that resemble the Comet Azure sorcery.

You can also use it at close range to deal heavy AoE fire damage.

Ruins Greatsword

Ruins Greatsword

Skill: Wave of Destruction

Requirements: 50 STR / 16 INT

Location: Dropped by Misbegotten Warrior and Crucible Knight at Redmane Castle in Caelid

The Ruins Greatsword offers a standard moveset with sweeping arcs for its light attacks and hammer strikes for heavy ones.

Its Wave of Destruction skill can deal serious damage to any opponent. It is a close-range gravity magic strike with a short wind-up that makes it easier for you to deal with multiple bosses and herds of NPCs.

Marais Executioner’s Sword

Skill: Eochaid’s Dancing Blade

Requirements: 24 STR / 14 DEX / 23 ARC

Location: Dropped by Elemer of the Briar at the Shaded Castle in Altus Plateau

The Marais Executioner’s Sword is an excellent choice for STR/ARC character builds. Its skill gives your build some ranged damage, allowing you to infuse the sword with energy before throwing it forward in a corkscrew throw attack.

Initially, the arcane scaling was bugged, but it has been fixed with the 1.03 patch.

Bolt of Gransax

Skill: Ancient Lightning Spear

Requirements: 20 STR / 40 DEX

Location: Leyndell, Royal Capital (before progressing the story beyond the Mountaintops of the Giants)

Bolt of Gransax’s Ancient Lightning Spear skill is the thing that makes it stand out. This skill basically works like the Lightning Spear Incantation but without having to commit to a magic build and invest in your Faith or Intellect attributes.

Essentially, you can charge the spear with lightning and throw it at your enemies for a ranged attack.

Golden Order Greatsword

Skill: Establish Order

Requirements: 16 STR / 21 DEX / 28 FAITH

Location: Dropped by Misbegotten Crusader in Cave of the Forlorn, Mountaintops of the Giants

This shiny greatsword in Elden Ring works as well as many other armaments in the game. However, it has a lower STR requirement, but its skill is what makes it truly shine. Establish Order starts with an outward burst of magic that can be followed by a wide slash that shoots a huge energy wave out of the sword.

Eclipse Shotel

all legendary armaments in Elden Ring

Skill: Death Flare

Requirements: 10 STR / 25 DEX / 30 FAITH

Location: Found at Castle Sol, Mountaintops of the Giants

This lethal curved sword in Elden Ring can deal the death status effect to its victims due to its Death Flare skill. The Eclipse Shotel also features a fast swing that tears through any shield pretty quickly.

It may not be as flashy as other legendary armaments in terms of size, but it certainly earns its place as a consistent damage dealer.

Devourer’s Scepter

all legendary armaments in Elden Ring

Skill: Devourer of Worlds

Requirements: 24 STR / 20 DEX / 25 FAITH

Location: Dropped by Bernahl at Warmaster’s Shack in Limgrave or Crumbling Farum Azula
