Want to know about all the bosses in Ainsel River, Lake of Rot, and Deeproot Depths in Elden Ring?
There is no denying that Elden Ring has won the hearts of seasoned new Souls players in the world. Most of them enjoyed exploring The Lands Between, while others got entertained with the game’s difficult gameplay and boss fights.Â
But in reality, Elden Ring is meant as a single-player game with a storyline that needs to be advanced. Luckily, the game allows players to advance the story at their own pace.
Due to this freedom, players have enough time to explore the world and uncover hidden areas, unlock valuable items, discover optional bosses, and more.
However, some locations in Elden Ring are far more hidden than others.
The Ainsel River, Lake of Rot, and Deeproot Depths are some of the deepest parts of The Lands Between. While these areas are underground, they still house dozens of monsters similar to the surface world.
In this guide, we’ve listed all the bosses in Ainsel River, Lake of Rot, and Deeproot Depths in Elden Ring.
Let’s begin!
Ainsel River Bosses

Dragonkin Soldier of Nokstella
The Ainsel River contains only one boss and it is found in a throne room at the end of the river. You can get to this spot the first time you visit Ainsel River, but the rest of the area requires you to follow Ranni’s quest line.Â
Lake of Rot Bosses

Astel, Naturalborn of the Void
Ranni’s quest will take you down to the Lake of Rot, but it is not the deepest part of The Lands Between. Once you cross the lake and go through the Grand Cloister, you can ride a coffin down to an even lower portion of the world.
Astel is also the only creature down there.
Dragonkin Soldier
Another boss will be treading water in the lake itself. Be prepared for a long and difficult encounter for this one and stick to the islands as much as possible.Â
Deeproot Depths Bosses

Crucible Knight Siluria
After taking care of the dual Valiant Gargoyles in Nokron, Eternal City, you can ride a coffin to head further down in the underworld. There will be an Erdtree all the way down here, and Siluria guards the path in front of it.
Fia’s Champions
Fia’s champions are bosses that appear in the water at the upper level in the northern portion of the region. Despite the name, they can appear whether you’ve pursued Fia’s questline or not in Elden Ring.
Lichdragon Fortissax
The Lichdragon Fortissax is one of many dragons you can find in Elden Ring. This encounter can be accessed from the same spot as Fia’s champions but fighting the dragon is the last step of her questline.
